Dr. Damian Tiernan

M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O., B.A., D.O.W.H.,D.C.H., D.P.C., M.I.C.G.P, Dip Clinical surgery

Dr Tiernan graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1996. He has been a partner with Medicentre since 2001. He specialises in Musculoskeletal and joint injections.  He is a clinical trainer on the Sligo General Practice Training Scheme.
Special interests include GP training and Occupational health.

Dr. Catherine Barrett

M.R.C.G.P, M.R.C.P, D.C.H, D.F.F.P, D.O.G.

Dr Barrett graduated from Trinity College,Dublin in 1995. She has been a partner with Medicentre since 2002. Her special interests amongst others include women’s health and chronic disease management.

Dr. Keith Russell

M.R.C.G.P. B. med Sc. D.C.H., D.F.F.P.

Dr Russell qualified from University College Cork in 1997. He completed his General Practice training in Scotland having rotated through various hospital specialties in Ireland. Areas of interest include Diabetes management and Dermatology with related minor surgery and Cryotherapy. He also has an interest in Travel health and vaccinations. He supervises medical students in training from National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). He has worked with Medicentre since 2003.

Dr. Sylvia Bernabeu

M.R.C.G.P. B. med Sc. D.C.H., D.F.F.P. M.I.C.G.P

Dr Bernabeu graduated with a Degree in Medicine from the University of Lleida in 2003. She also studied Family & Community Medicine (MFiC) in the Catalan Institute of Health Care in 2007. Dr Bernabeu also undertook a Postgraduate in Immigration, Interculturality and Health from the University Autonoma de Barcelona(UAB) in 2010. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (2015).
